Easy Canvas Prints

Have you ever wanted to do something just a bit different than framing your favorite prints?  Check out what I did with our fav wedding photo!

Easy Canvas Prints Website is very easy to use, a few choices regarding edging and size and your canvas is on the way!  I chose an 11x14 size with a standard black edge here....however I'm looking forward to sending some of my 4yr old nephew Rohan's crazy shots to have done and I may get a bit colorful with the edges on those. (you can also choose to wrap the photo around the edge if it compliments the canvas.)

Be sure to capture some great summer photos with the Easy Canvas Prints in mind, they would make great gifts!  Unique Family Wall art!

And for my Canadian friends, shipping is VERY reasonable and quick (My canvas arrived in about a week)

ps be sure to sign up for their newsletter, they have sales on a regular basis: right now there is 25% off!

A few layouts on a Friday...

Just wanted to post the other layouts I had completed at the Creative Scrappers Crop a few weeks ago...I think these are three of my favorites in some time :)

Amy Tangerine Sketchbook Collection

Studio Calico Kit: DayDream Believer

Studio Calico Kit Metropolitan

This weekend is going to be a busy one with an old friend visiting tonight (yay Nat!) and then my parents arriving tomorrow morning!  Instead of taking them on the usual shopping rounds, I think we may need to do some sightseeing....Peggy's Cove is at the top of my list!

Have a great weekend!!

Whimsy Parrot!

Here is my Whimsy Parrot!!  I can't tell you how much I love how he turned out!  Every time I look at this, it just makes me smile :)

Having so much fun getting my hands full of paint and ink!  This is going to be a creative summer, I can feel it!

I love butterflies.
Always have.... 20 years ago my best friend Guylaine and I went out and got matching butterfly tattoos (before all the cool kids were doing it I might add!  LOL)

Later on.... Dave and I would always described how we feel in "butterflies": When he walks into a room after 7 years and I still get butterflies...I know, its corny but I love that it still happens.

So when Christy Tomlinson posted this beautiful butterfly canvas tutorial,  I just had to try my hand at it!  I just love how she stamped the butterflies, broke them in two and re glued them, I would have never thought of that!

Here is my version of Butterflies...

A few Layouts from the crop!

Hi folks,
just catching up on a few layouts I made at the Creative Scrappers crop a couple of weekends ago!

As always, such a lovely weekend with my Moncton girls :)  I beat my record and completed 12 are a few that are ready to be photographed.  The others either are for a DT assignment or just need a bit of journaling added!

One of my fav lines from Sassafras!

Mixed Media, Wild Class and Cards!

Hope everyone is having a fabulous Sunday evening!
Our weekend went by too fast (as usual), but I did manage to get some mixed media time in late last night!

I've been taking Junelle Jacobson's class via Scarlet Lime "The Art of Wild Abandonment" and I was inspired to work on  a few work in progress canvas' I had sitting in my space for months!  Yes, it was midnight when the mood struck, and yes, I'm a bit tired today....but creatively sated for the moment :)

Here is a little sneak of my parrot...he's not finished yet, but I'm really liking how he turned out so far.  Even when I don't try to do something cutsie, I just can't help myself!  Junelle is inspiring me to create what speaks to me, what I love I'm just going with it and let it happen.  (and it feels great!)

On the scrapbooking front....have you picked up your copy of the latest Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine?  I was thrilled to bits when Jackie asked me to create a few cards featuring MLBOW....then the reality of it settled in after a few moments of accepting the assignment. Oh crap.  I have to make 4 cards!  Haha!  Like many 12x12 scrapbookers, I struggle with card making.  I'm not sure why, but they never turn out how I originally envision them and so I rarely make them.

Time to dig out my mojo-maker....Sassafras stash...and get to work!  Here are the cards I came up with, and I have to say, I'm quite pleased with them!
Thanks Jackie and Canadian Scrapbooker for the opportunity and supporting MLBOW!!

Well, I'm off to make supper for the gang....its almost 6:30pm LOL
Priorities askew much?

A Few DT Assignments...

Happy Monday Folks,
Here are a few layouts I've made these past few weeks :)

I just got back last night from the Creative Scrappers Sunshine crop, it was so much fun!  I broke my record and completed 12 layouts this weekend!  Hoping the weather cooperates and I can get outside to take photos of them.  Oh how I wish I had a set up like this in the house, especially during the winter months.....Mmmmm I may sneak this link to hubby and see what he thinks LOL

Here is the last layout for my Guest DT at Creatively Yours

Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!!
